Cultural events are all around us but we don’t always know it.
It helps to know where to look.
Sagebrush Café in Quartz Hill offers live music (6pm) on the first Friday of the month each month.
In May, the coffee shop has added events for the 14th & 15th.
On Friday the 14th, Sagebrush Café is hosting a musical performance by Tres Tragos at 6pm. The duo plays a hard-to-describe style that straddles the boundaries of folk, country, and pop and features guitarist and singer Vince M. and acoustic drum-kit player Caesar.
Saturday May 15th, the coffee shop is hosting a book signing and reading by local author Debbie Chaddick to promote her book The Spirituality of Hope. The event is set to begin at 4 pm.

The Lancaster Museum and Art Gallery is currently running a valley-wide high school show and also rumors of musical events have been heard…a possible organized drum-circle has been mentioned.
Cedar Centre, also in downtown Lancaster, is experiencing a renovation as are the streets surrounding it.
In a few months, Lancaster will look very different and its core of artistic institutions will be central to its new identity.
With the Cedar Centre renovations, a new location for the Lancaster Museum and Art Gallery, and the continuing growth of the Lofts Gallery on Lancaster Boulevard and a bevy of dining options, the downtown area suddenly begins to seem like…a lively arts district.
