The Antelope Valley College Art Gallery is proud to present Image and Word, a group exhibition exploring how reading creates ruptures and cross-sections in our visual engagement with images.

Image and Word brings together local artists with artists working across the U.S. The works of Phillip Buntin, Joe Immen, Adele Mills, Larissa Nickel, Marina Pinsky, and Adeline Wysong bridge a wide variety of media. Through paint, print, photography, and video, each artist plays with the unique expectations words and reading create in visual communication.
