from Noon-4 p.m
From the Lakes Hughes edition of The Yodeler:
Ben Tomlinson and Teresa LeClerc will be the featured artists at the March Art Show at the Lakes and Valley Art Gallery. Their show titled Wild About Nature will be a mixture of media and techniques while depicting their favorite subject, nature. The show will be March 2 through March 31 and the opening reception will be held March 2 from
12 to 4pm at the Lakes and Valley Art Gallery.
Ben Tomlinson was born in rural North Carolina, some seventy years ago. After many years of extensive travel throughout most of North America, Ben decided to set his many artistic observations and interpretations to canvas and paper. Ben’s various renderings include
many different mediums including oil, tempera, acrylic, pen, pencil and watercolor. Many of Ben’s works have been reproduced in a Limited edition format. It is his hope that his artistic renderings will bring both joy to your heart and beauty to your home.
Teresa LeClerc was born in Oregon and enjoyed the many trips her family took to view wildlife in Oregon mountains. This love of animals led her to choose wildlife and pet portraits as her specialty. She has become known for her loving rendering of pets in pastel throughout the
Antelope Valley, the L.A. basin and in Oregon. Teresa is an Associate Member of the Pastel Society of America, the Pastel Society of the West Coast, and the Lakes and Valley Art Guild. She is the authorized artist for the Shadowland Foundation in Lake Hughes and has won
several awards at the AV Fair. She has shown at the Pastel on High International Pastel Juried Show 2012 and also gives workshops on painting with pastels.
You are invited to meet the artists and view their art in the March show at the Lakes and Valleys Art Gallery.
