In an effort to provide artists with venues to show their art in Southern California, movie producer and director Mike Chinea is sponsoring a pop art show in Lancaster, California.He contacted me to select a group of artists for the art show.
The artists participating are Sergio Hernandez, Warren Scherich, Michael Jones, Marthe Aponte, Julius Eastman, Ricardo Cisneros, Nicelle Davis, Chaz Hennessy, and Edwin Vasquez. The art opening will be Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 till 5:00pm.
Mr. Mike Chinea will be in town documenting the event. You are invited to come and meet him and the artists representing the Antelope Valley.
This is a free, family-friendly event. There will be live music by Dr. Eddie Edwards, and light refreshments will be served.
